Most 8 year old girls ask for a new bike or maybe a party with their friends. Not Lauren, she would like a weekend getaway, thank you. And what Lauren wants, Lauren gets!

This post is only suppose to be about Lauren, but we had to give a shout out toDaddy who did a great job organizing our fun filled weekend!

1st Communion

Together with family and friends we celebrated Lauren's most recent milestone in the church. Watching her receive her 1st communion was such an emotional moment. I wanted to cry but I was so overwhelmed with excitement for her. She was absolutely beaming!

Lauren wore the same dress as Brianna, but she had her own veil.
I hope to have all the girls in our family (present and future) receive their
1st Communion wearing this dress.
My mom made my 1st Communion cake. I cheated.Hey, it's not easy getting 5 kids ready for 9am mass.

Hi Gabby, this is Kris' daughter Gennifer. Just peeked at your blog. Your kids are all so cute. And getting big too. Even the baby. It's crazy how fast time flies. Hopefully mine will both fly out of diapers soon! ;)
