Michael spent most of the afternoon in front of the 600 degree pizza oven. We love our "Giuseppe"

We had a blast celebrating my Daddy's 80th birthday.
Two days of non-stop fun. We started the celebration on Saturday with a nice dinner at Gladstone's in Long Beach. Sunday, we gathered at our house to take family portraits and continues the fun with a good old fashion pool party. The only twist was that we challenged everyone to a pizza throw down. I must admit, we have some pretty talented chefs.
The title of Pizza Champions was awarded to Thelma and Rob for their
B-B-Q Chicken Pizza and their Marinated Steak Pizza. YUMMY!!!
We were blessed to have almost the entire family together. I made sure to spend time with every single person. We are all so far apart , the time I get with everyone is so precious to me. I was so sad to see everyone go, but I know that we will be together again soon. I LOVE you all!

Thank you for the super nice comment on my blog! I hear ya on letting yours go... sometimes I feel like it's too much work with just my two kids, I can't imagine finding time to blog if I had five. :)
